Big operators focused on the Sweden Online Gambling scene
Sweden has found itself the centre of attention after two of its online casino giants, Betsson and Red Bet Gaming found themselves with two new game suppliers last week in an advantageous deal that has been the envy of many, and is currently the talk of the online gambling scene.
Betsson, based in Stockholm and one of Europe’s leading online gambling sites recently announced a two year deal with Cryptologic which will in theory give Betsson a catalogue of over one hundred online casino games designed by Cryptologic to choose from. It has been reported that the games available for Betsson should they choose, will include both branded and unbranded games, further extending the Swedish giants portfolio of quality skillful online games for their clients.
The Instant Click platform that has been developed by Cryptologic is believed to be of interest to Betsson. Instant Click is a system that instantaneously allows Cryptologic’s games to be incorporated into Betsson’s cashier and software platforms throughout any number of the ten online gambling sites currently run by the Swedish company.
The Vice President of Cryptologic, a Mr. Ian Price and the Head of Games at Betsson, a Rudi Thomassen are both quoted as being delighted with the deal between the two companies. Price stated that the deal showed off the quality of Cryptologic’s games whilst Thomassen was more flattering stating that the deal to use Cryptologic’s “entertaining games” would bring about further satisfaction to Betsson gamers.
During the same month Microgaming also signed a deal to produce games for a Swedish online gambling site, this time with Red Bet Gaming the focus of attention. Red Bet, who much like Betsson and other major Swedish gambling sites are based in Stockholm and are reported to have brokered a deal that, will see a vast quantity of Microgaming’s catalogue become available to them. The deal between the Swedish company and one of the first ever developers of online games also includes their flagship progressive slots Immortal Romance and Thunderstruck II. These two games alone have broken records as far as the number of gamers that have used them are concerned and are two of the hottest video slots currently on the net.
The Chief Operations Officer of Red Bet Gaming, Alexis Wicen commented that they were seeking the best slots in the online gambling world, so naturally the deal with Microgaming was inevitable. His counter-part over at Microgaming, Ashley Sandyford-Sykes made similar remarks, stating that together Microgaming’s titles will bring in a wealth of new customers to the Swedish gaming site.
