What Are Our All-Time Favorite Casino Games?

CASINO GAME RULES

Over the years, we've been introduced to different casino games. Some are really simple ones, while others can be quite complicated. What all these games have in common, however, is the fun they offer.

Yes, it's all right to indulge in a casino game or two every once in awhile as it's a good way to let loose and relax. But, of course, you need to choose the games you are most comfortable with. These are games you find yourself drawn to even after you've tried one or two new ones. These are the casino games you're confident playing because you know how much fun you'll have – aside from your increased chances of winning, of course!

Here are some of the all-time favorite casino games many of us have grown to love over the years, and then some new ones, too.

All-Time Favorite Casino Games

Baccarat

This involves three persons: the player, banker, and tie. The banker and player hand each get two 2-card hands. These are added and is the total is more than 10; the ten is thrown or dropped. So, if the player hands total to 20, the other ten is dropped, and he is left with a 10. A 10 hand is equal to baccarat or 0. Anyone who placed a bet on the hand with the higher total gets the bet and the said hand wins.

Keno

This lottery game is quite popular among many players. There are cards numbered 1 to 80 and each player chooses 20 numbers and indicates a wager. After the card is registered, the caller randomly draws and calls out 20 numbers. The player then tries to find out how many of his numbers matched those announced by the caller. The more numbers match, the more money he wins.

3-Card Poker

Also known as Poker 3 Cards, Triple Card Poker, and Poker Three, this casino game has players competing against the dealer. Each player is dealt three cards, and they try to outdo the dealer by coming up with the best hand ranking. Examples of 3-Card Poker hand ranking include the Straight Flush (3 cards in a row – same suit), Three of a Kind (3 cards – same ranking), and Straight (3 cards in a row – unsuited).

Roulette

This is one of the oldest and most popular casino games. Roulette involves a wheel with numbers and a ball. Additional betting options include red-black, low 18-high 18, and even-odd, among others. Players position their bets according to their choice of number/s and as the dealer gives the "no more bets" sign, the wheel is spun clockwise while the ball moves in the other direction. All the bets placed in the number where the ball lands are declared winners.

Slot Machines

Slot machines are very popular casino games. In fact, the slot machine areas are almost always filled with people trying their luck on the games. Although there are different kinds of slot machines, the general rules are the same. Players insert coins into the machine. Once the coins are accepted, the players either push a button or pull a handle according to the instructions given. Most slot machines have three wheels, which turn once the button or handle is pushed or pulled. If all three (or five for some machines) symbols that appear on the machine are of the same pattern or symbol, players win the jackpot. If they do not, players get the corresponding amount.

Blackjack

Blackjack is perhaps the most popular casino game ever. It is played not only at the casino, but also online and in parties and other private social functions. The game is easy to follow and understand, and the objective is simple. Players play against the dealer, and they race to get a hand that totals to 21. If the hand does not add up to 21, they should be lower than 21. Once the total goes over, the player automatically loses. In Blackjack, face cards are equal to 10, while Ace cards are equivalent to 11. So, if you get one face card and an Ace, you get a total of 21 (Blackjack).
