Silver Bullet Slots by Playtech is a 5-reel, 9-line video slot machine that uses a Western theme and links to the Dollar Ball progressive jackpot. The symbol set includes horses, dollar bills, horseshoes, smoking pipes, carriage wheels, cowboy hats, barbecue sauce bottles, sevens, cannonballs, barrels, six-shooters and sheriff badges. Although Silver Bullet may appear as complex video slot game, it plays more like a classic slot machine. Click here to visit our five reel slots relevant page.
Silver Bullet gameplay is fairly straightforward. The machine allows one coin per line, players can activate between one and nine lines and the available coin sizes range from $0.01 to $5. Therefore, the minimum bet is $0.01, the minimum bet to have all lines active is $0.09 and the maximum bet is $45. Use the plus and minus buttons to adjust the coin size and the Bet One button to cycle through the paylines. Click Spin or Bet Max to begin the round.
Silver Bullet has three special features: a wild symbol, a scatter symbol and the Dollar Ball option. The sheriff badge is wild and can substitute for any standard symbol to form a winning combo. The six-shooter is the scatter symbol, which pays out with just two symbols on active paylines and as much as 100 coins.
Dollar Ball is a side bet unique to Playtech slot machines. If the player opts in, their current spin requires an additional dollar. That dollar goes into the Dollar Ball pot. The player also picks five unique numbers from one to 49. The player can pick new numbers each time, or they can pick once and use those same numbers each time they opt in. When the player opts in, the Dollar Ball system randomizes five numbers during the player’s slot spin and compares them to the chosen numbers. Guessing all five numbers correctly pays out the progressive jackpot.
Graphics & Audio
Playtech has chosen a watercolor style for this slot machine, and that choice suits the theme well. The sound effects are also quite good, and they remind of us the sound effects from the Road Runner cartoons.
The barrel is the jackpot symbol, and any combination of barrels and sheriff badges five across an active payline will pay out the line jackpot of 10,000 coins. If the player hits the jackpot on all nine lines, that spin is worth 90,000 coins or $450,000 at the max bet. The Dollar Ball jackpot, which can be won in addition to the standard jackpot, is at least $10,000 but can be much higher.
Silver Bullet is fun, fast and simple. We like that it is a video slot machine but has the straightforward appeal of a one-armed bandit. It is not a slot machine you’ll want to play for hours on end, but you’ll certainly want to work it into your rotation. Don't miss to visit our free slots collection, to find more amazing games.
